Hey!

Hi!

Hello!

Greetings!

Dear sir/madam!

Aren’t these some of the ways we welcome people?

Do you think it’s sufficient?

Do you believe that sending a simple “hello” message will elicit a response from someone who is too busy to read eMails?

Nah!

So, how do you get others to notice you?

Buddy, it’s not that difficult!

Don’t be concerned. We’ve got your back.

Follow these tips to successfully network and experience enormous results:

1. Start with a kickass introduction

When you say ‘hi’, the other person does not have a context for your demands. Include 1-2 lines describing what you desire and how the other person may assist you in obtaining it.

Let’s suppose I’m interested in a position and want to speak with HR.

Wrong-way:

Hi,

I heard there’s an opportunity in the marketing department. I’m not very sure of what that is but would like to work in your company for a good experience.

Doesn’t it appear like this individual is uninterested?

As a result, it’s critical to provide some context.

Correct way:

Hi XYZ,

I came across an opportunity where you’re looking for a growth hacker.

I’m positive that I can offer good service to your company as I have 3 years’ experience in the required field.

Further, working with you would do wonders for my career and help me learn from the best professionals out there in the industry.

If the premise interests you please find my resume and cover letter attached.

Warm regards,

Name.

Makes sense, right?

So, now you see why you weren’t able to land a prospective profile, don’t you?

When you provide context, you become more noticeable, and more people want to engage with you, therefore expanding your network.

2. Up your research game

Investigate who can provide you with what. Build no attempt to make a connection with a marketing manager in order to obtain a position on the operations team. Keep your objectives in mind.

Use LinkedIn to connect with the greatest industry experts who have incredible experiences. Look for people who work in the field you want to enter, and voila, you’ve made a connection.

However, you should never send a connection request without a build-up. Always include a note explaining why you wish to connect.

3. Best platforms to create a network

As previously said, LinkedIn is a massive resource at our disposal. Check out the videos on the Seekho website to get a better grasp of how LinkedIn works for networking.

Next, if you’re looking for freelancers, Fiverr and Upwork are great places to start. It has a large number of like-minded people working on various projects and generating a lot of money.

Additionally, join communities on Telegram and Discord. They are fantastic people that are goal-oriented and have a lot of expertise and energy.
